Geneviève Bastida-Ruddock is a multi-disciplinary artist and curator hailing from the southern state of Alabama. After attending four high schools in both Florida and California, she pursued her passion for creativity by studying Fine Art and Media Production at Pepperdine University in scenic Malibu, CA.

Continued exposure to different cultures and ways of being inspired her to finish studies in Buenos Aires, Argentina and after graduating, travel to Vrindavan, India, where she taught art to children and captured the essence of their imaginative projects. This transformative experience allowed her to witness the power of art in fostering self-expression and nurturing young minds.

Currently, Geneviève resides in the enchanting Topanga Canyon, California, where she explores soft sculpture and paintings that beautifully reflect her unique vision. Not limited to her solitary artistic pursuits, she also curates a community arts space and gallery named 'SPACE art + supply.' This dynamic establishment serves as a vibrant hub for passionate artists and art enthusiasts, fostering creativity and celebrating the diverse expressions of human imagination.

Through her meandering journey and ubiquitous dedication to both her art practice and community, Geneviève continues to thrive in the world of art, continuously seeking the power of artistic exploration, bridging cultures, and creating spaces where creativity thrives.
