Meet Your Teachers
Anand Darsie
Anand Brian Darsie is a music and yoga teacher living in Topanga, CA. He received a Bachelors of Music in Voice at Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music, where he also studied piano. From 2013-2018 he was the Music Director at Mount Madonna School and from 2015-2017 was the Music Director at Gilroy Presbyterian Church. Since moving to the LA area in 2019, he’s mostly been singing with the art-pop group Hello Forever, as well as at Santa Monica Methodist Church and C3LA, a contemporary choral collective. Anand has maintained a private studio of beginning/intermediate piano and voice students for a decade. Anand brings the fun of a camp counselor and the traditions of all of his teachers to his music students with gratitude and joy.
Genevieve Ruddock
Genevieve’s studied Fine Art at Pepperdine and after graduating traveled to Vrindavan, India, where she taught art to children for five years. Her diverse career as an artist and educator has allowed her to develop a unique teaching style. She loves working with children, and draws upon her experience, insight, and artistry to support students in their unique creative practice and expression. Over the years she has seen an increase in confidence, empathy, and self esteem among her students. Genevieve has also observed the positive impact that Art Education can have in regards to personal growth and character development.
